out of the mouths of babes

This is a conversation I had with my cousin Luke, he is a twin and he is 4 years old. He decided he did not want to be in the Christmas play this year, and that is the setting of this conversation:

Bri: So, you aren't going to be a shepherd?
Luke: No.
Bri: What about a king?
Luke: No.
Bri: So you're going to be a spectator.
Luke: No, I just want to watch.
Bri: That's what "spectator" means...
Luke: (thoughtful pause)... is that Spanish?
